MASQUE MOVIE EDITOR!

The EDIT INTERFACE lets you pick and, then, view scenes from the movie, "Masque." You may pick, up to, 99 scenes.

FIRST: When you start, you are in clip one. You may move to other video clips by using the "up" and "down" arrows under the Clip display (top right of your screen). After you have picked a clip, you may play and pause it by clicking on the "CLIP PLAY" Button (diamond shaped button to the right of the sliders, at the bottom of the screen). You may move forward and backward in the clip by dragging the Large Diamond slider, that moves across the screen, as the clip plays.

SECOND: To pick a scene for your selection, move the "IN" and "OUT" buttons (the bottle looking objects on the long bar, at the bottom of the screen) to the right or left. Click down on the buttons and, then -- while still holding the mouse down -- drag them along the SLIDEBAR. When you release the mouse, the clip will move forward or backward. The "IN" button sets the beginning of your scene, and the "OUT" button sets the end.

THIRD: Click on the "MARK" button (the next button to the right of the "CLIP PLAY" button) to register your scene. When you enter a scene, the small, red, numbers on the lower right of the viewing area will increase. This shows you how many scenes you have chosen. You may view the scenes you have picked by hitting the "PLAY" button (large red one under the "Clip Counter"). When viewing your selection, you move through the individual scenes by dragging the round slider to the right or left. When you let the mouse up, you will move to a new scene and see the number that corresponds to it in the register, to the right.

EDITING YOUR SELECTION. You may change the scenes you have picked in two ways:
First, you can change the "IN" and "OUT" points of an individual scene by stopping the movie, which will cause the "IN" and "OUT" buttons to appear, again. Then, select new "IN" and "OUT" points and hit the "ENTER" button to register these in your selection.
Second, you can ADD scenes to your selection by registering new "IN" and "OUT" points and then clicking the small "up" arrow over the number register. You may, also, DELETE scenes from your selection by hitting the small "down" arrow. This will delete whichever scene is currently in the viewing area.
You can also CLEAR all the scenes in your selection by clicking the "CLEAR" Button to the lower right of the number register.

SAVING YOUR SELECTION: You may save your selection of scenes by clicking the "SAVE" button to the right of the viewing area. You will, then, be prompted to give a name to your selection and a place to store it on your hard drive. If you want to view this selection later, you can hit the "LOAD" button. This will prompt you to pick, whatever selection, you have saved.
